Siddhartha Automotive adds 2 Grafica Camshell
to jack up production of automobile decals

New Delhi based Siddhartha Automotive has deployed 2 Grafica CamShell, semi screen printing machines to print automotive decals and other industrial stickers.

Siddhartha Automotive is a manufacturer of 2-wheeler stickers, complete sets of bike stickers, visor stickers, side panel stickers, Mud guard stickers, Fuel tank stickers, tail panel stickers etc. The company prints decals in different sizes, from 10" x 15" to 30" x 40" on Vinyl substrate. Their bike stickers are manufactured and sold under the brand "Sun Gold". The company's stickers are sold all over India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh markets.

The company has a large fleet of ten semi automatic screen printing machines. In addition the company has complete screen making set up, Curing/drying equipment. Lamination and other print finishing facilities

The company was set up and being managed by a young entrepreneur, Shubham Jain in March 2014. Siddhartha Automotive's sister concern is into trading in bike accessories including stickers and they also run a shop at Karol Baug market in New Delhi.

We make decals for any bikes manufactured in India. Besides export, our decals are sold in Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kerala, Mumbai and other cities.

Although the company ventured into decal manufacturing about 3 years ago but has achieved tremendous success, so to say, the company had 4 screen printing machines in its very first year of operation (2014), and in 2017, it has a fleet of 10 machines and has big plans to add few more screen printing machines.

"We have achieved growth both in terms volume and revenue. We have registered 30% year on year growth in line with overall growth of automobile industry. Since our decals are for after market, we keep introducing new designs. Since our decals are not for OEMs, we always work on creating demand generation through attractive decals, the basis of which is design. We have inhouse design team to accomplish this task," says Shubham Jain.

He adds: "The growth for scooty decals is going up in youth segment as more and more youngsters are using scooty, a preference over bike for short distance rides, such as ride to schools, colleges, market, etc Scooty segment is growing in ladies (girls) segment as well as it is easy to use than bike. Youngsters are crazy for new designs and attractive decals. It's a fashion statement or a symbol of style to have catchy decals to make bikes or scootys attractive."

He says that although most of the bikes and scooty come with decals fixed at OEM level, people still buy new decals with eye catching designs to enhance the look of their bikes/scootys. "There is a chain reaction, as one customer fixes new decal on his two wheeler, others get lured to buy new decals," he concludes.
