Shilpa Agencies employs NPL to produce wedding cards with feel good factor
In this age of cutting edge technology, wedding card making is going through transformation. It's no more a manual screen printing affair. To keep pace with this change, Delhi based Shilpa Agencies, has deployed Grafica's Nano-Premier League (NPL) to offer custom made wedding cards, special invites, and social stationery.
"We had few manual screenprinting tables earlier, but soon realised the need for automation,” says Rajat Khanna, an MBA with IT background. He is backed by his mentors – D.R. Khanna (his uncle), and Ashok Khanna, (father). Their show room is located at Chawri Bazar, Delhi's busiest wedding card market. They also have fabrication-cum-printing unit and a warehouse.
Set up in 1988, Shilpa Agencies is a manufacturer and whole sellers of wedding cards and envelopes. They commenced retailing business three years ago with special focus on custom made wedding card design and printing.
“I was under the impression that screen printing is a low profile activity. But during my visit to Grafica's stall at a leading exhibition, I was excited to see the advancement in screen printing. I was also delighted to see a large collection of DMI's creative samples such as striking wedding cards and paper carry bags. So, I thought NPL would be a good technology to transform all our ideas into attractive wedding cards with feel good factor,” says Rajat.
“Grafica team was transparent in clearing all our doubts during our first meeting itself. This gave us confidence to buy their machine. They are always available to guide us. The unique facet of Grafica is that they go extra mile whenever we need some technical guidance.”
