Classic Labels follow DMI's standardisation to derive maximum benefit from NPL plus
Small or big, it is high time that screen printers adopt advanced technology while at the same time follow standard practices to deliver quality prints and grow in business. This is the practical experience of Inder Pal Singh, proprietor of Ludhiana based Classic Labels, manufacturer of woven labels, garment hand tags, stickers and labels for shawls and dress materials.
After the installation of Grafica's Nano-Premier League plus (NPL plus) and attending 3-day workshop at DMI, his business has progressed tremendously. “That's because while adopting newer technology I also made sure to up-grade my knowledge, and this dual facility is only available with Grafica. So being their customer this is an added advantage.”
Disclosing one of the main reasons for switching over to automation Inder Pal says: “My son Harmeen was not keen to join my business because of labour intensive and tedious nature of manual screen printing. So, automation was the only way to actively involve him in mybusiness. Now my son is also enthusiastic, especially after attending DMI's workshop along with me.”
I strongly believe that manual screen printers who want their next generation to take up their business will have to go for automation or else it will be difficult to sustain your family business.”
“Associating with Grafica is really learning experience. They are in constant touch with us via phone calls or through their regular eNews/printed newsletter,” he concludes.
