From Army to a successful businessman in Screen Printing

If benevolence is his natural passion, compassion is in his blood. While venturing into the business of leather products, Col Anil Chawla (Retd) strongly felt that Indian industry needs to tap the latent potential of its intelligent and hardworking poor and speed up their betterment. So in its own way, his company V&M provides employment to over 250 rural craftsmen at its plant, located in Manesar, about 35 km from Delhi airport.

“Our R&D is guided by the need for blending craftsmanship with modern machines. Moreover, even our unlettered workers are given an opportunity to handle modern machines.” Now, in the business of leather products, the retired Colonel makes strategies to deal with a friendly enemy called competition using employees fired with 'enthusiasm' winning over foreign buyers by convincing them of Indian quality and reliability. The company has a full-fledged screen printing set up with an 18” x 24” semi automatic screen printing machine, total pre-press and a 12” UV dryer – all from Grafica.

Why Grafica?

Given the screen printing scenario in India, Grafica is doing a good job offering the right kind of machines and technology, expertise in printing techniques and creating awareness among entrepreneurs.
