Recently Grafica MD Bhargav Mistry along with a group of screen printing professionals attended the FESPA 2007 Exo in Berlin, Germany, from 5th - 9th.

The good news is that says Bhargav, DMI received gold medal in the youth competition. As per the contest, the students were supposed to design and print the FESPA Berlin main gate image. It is really a wonderful achievement for DMI, Bhargav says. “Many of the Indian printers who won prizes at FESPA happened to be Grafica customers. Grafica congratulates all the winners.”

While sharing his experience of FESPA, he said that the exhibition was sort of 'old wine in a new bottle”. “I could not see much new products on display, but much of the technology exhibited were showed only process automation and technology upgradation.” Surprisingly giant companies like MacBeth, RITE, Teckon, Gretag, etc were absent at the exhibit.

But the exhibition was well organized. There was no confusion for visitors. There were separate sections for screen, digital and textile printing and hence visitors could visit as per their requirement. “It was very exhaustive event for almost five days and we now look forward to FESPA India'07”, says Bhargav.
