The founder of Grafica group of companies (1952). As a genius in printing technology, he himself was a student of Fine Arts & Design from Mumbai's famous Sir J J School of Applied Arts.
It was his vision to set up an institute like DMI to provide full fledged education and training to students in screen printing and make them finest screen printing technologists rather than machine operators.

The establishment of DMI is indeed a historic moment in the Indian screen printing. It is an initiative of Grafica Flextronica which is specialized in the manufacture of high quality screen printing / UV curing / screen making machines and equipment since 1989. DMI is located within Grafica premises.

DMI received a real sustenance from one great guru from printing industry, Michel Caza, Chairman of Academy of Screen Printing Technology (ASPT) and ex-president of FESPA.
DMI is aimed at teaching the same sound fundamentals and advanced techniques that are used world wide by successful entrepreneurs in screen printing. Its training programmes are meant for cost effective yet quality print solutions so that screen printers are able to increase productivity and profitability.
