FESPA WORLD INDIA 2007 was held from 7 - 9th December 2007 at the Pragati Maidan, in New Delhi.  Over 150 exhibitors demonstrated their products and services mainly in screen and digital printing and related areas. The expo was organised by FESPA in association with SPAI and  Services International. There were several seminars as well. This was the second time that FESPA organised such an event in India. Grafica’s entire top team took part in the exhibition.

Grafica had taken a big stall placed strategically where it displayed its cylinder press (both stop and swing machines), accu speed fully automatic screen printing machine with UV curing system. Cam shell semi automatic  screen printing machine and Two post pillar semi automatic screen printing machine with UV system. Grafica  focused more on live demo of cylinder press and accu speed machines and on the spot printed samples were given to seeking visitors.

As far as Grafica was concerned, the expo attracted somewhat good crowd from the digital and screen sector.. There were targeted visitors but not much visitors from neighbouring countries such as Pakistan, Bangla and Nepal. However, there were some European dealers who visited the exhibition. Grafica’s existing customers who visited the stall at Fespa expo were keenly taking interest in the cylinder press demo. The general screen printers who visited were keen to see accu speed in action.

In fact all ‘eyes’ were on accu speed demo since it has capability to print from a min thickness of 100 gsm to maximum thickness of 500 gsm substrate. The visitors though heard of cylinder presses with swing and stop mechanism, they could actually see the difference between the two methods live at Grafica stall. There was also a group of visitors from Textile printing from Tiruppur.

Also, Grafica could create curiosity for the DMI and enquiries were received for future programmes. And against this positive response, DMI has decided to organise programmes sometime in the 3rd week of January 2008.
